Still enjoying your adventures! Sure am! Love the welcome to NM, nice bullet holes in the sign.
ReplyDeleteYou would have thought, well I did anyhow, that the same brutal hot hot hot would have been the same in Reno - seems not.
Did you have one part of the trip when Ron couldn't hear you Pat? Thought so, that is the strange an awful place called Deaf Valley.
Tom Tom wouldn't work without a wire to it?? How bizarre and strange is that :) At least Ron had benefit of his handy Pat Pat.
Change of plan: DO NOT go into a Dennys - you are forbidden - that should do it! Anytime now.
Now what do we get?? Yup, an 'under construction' sign. Pshaw!
ReplyDeleteThe pictures are good. I like the Wharton Hysterical Museum - very cool - with an actual statue of a Wharton within! Amazing.
Who stole the scenery? Can they get it back?
This is my only hope communicating ..... hey, do you guys pass by Area 51 or is it just called Wharton nowadays?
Well, I recorded Jay Leno and had some pretty good shots of the audience. Couldn't find either of you guys but no surprise there. Ron, I'm assuming that just like the www.BeautifulPeople.com recent actions (they kicked off over 30,000 'non-qualifiers') the Leno staff did the same when you attempted to get a ticket. After all, this is national TV...So I guess Pat made it in.
ReplyDeletePat and Ron,
ReplyDeleteI missed following you lately as John and I were in Texas this past week and before that busy getting the boys ready for Special Olympics World Games in Greece.
Great pictures of California, especially with Kathy, Lee driving the MG is precious with uncle Ron so serious :)
Search for David on web to see him with Michelle Kwan Hilton President and Shriver
Hi Mike - Thanks so much for your almost daily comments. They keep me laughing all day.
ReplyDeleteHi Alan - we watched the Jay Leno Tonight show and just was barely able to make out where we were sitting and the red color of Ron's jacket helped us to find ourselves. We were only slightly visible in the top balcony middle in front and so were not on the floor seats where the audience rushes up to greet Jay when he starts his show.
Hi Kathleen - You'll have to send us the link for David's newest trip for special Olympics.
