Today, Sunday, June 19 (also Father's Day) was the beginning of our journey home. I have started a new page on which to continue my blog as we travel home.

Like the new page BUT I can't leave comments - maybe that was your plan!! You could always start a fresh blog page?? On the other hand you guys seem to be having a whale of time in the City by the Bay.
As you know I love architecture, way back when I had given to me an architectural painting by Jackson B Haart. Mom left it in the Washington St (1350) apartment, what a shame. Makes me a bit homesick to be honest -

Isn't it odd that Mother's Day in the USA is on a different date to the UK whereas Father's Day is the same?
Hi Mike Glad to see that you (and me) figured out how to leave comments with my new static page for the trip home. Unlike you when you visit a place and can compose your pictures of towns and buildings, I am shooting mine from a moving vehicle and only get a one second chance - so it is that or nothing as Ron is not going to stop, especially when there is an 18 wheeler pressing down on us.
