........Please go to the tab/page titled: Follow us from California to HOME.to continue our journey home - really, we are still with daughter and grandkids......We went to see the July 4th fireworks on Ft Rucker tonight.
Also, remember to check out the tab/page called Map of America and our Travels
and the tab/page called Ka-ching - or Gas $$$'s Across America.
I have had a check around here and no one knows anything special about 4th of July, doesn't make any sense to me at all. As colonial type people out there in HM's country have you got any idea?
ReplyDeleteI called up Liz, Phil answered, "Waz up?" he asked.
"Well bro, peeps in da Colonies are having fireworks for the 4th of July - you got any idea why?"
"No bro, nada mate, I'll ask the old trouble and strife.", then he called out "Lizzie, know what them there Colonials are doin' init? Four July?"
"Phil, hang up I have your tea ready. Stupid old man.", she yelled back, I could hear a plate fall, "Now look what you made us do, we done dropped a plate! Corgies off or my size 10s go up yer ...."
"Have to go bro.", came back Phil's reply.
So, we don't know what you guys are talking about. BTW If you have another one of them there tea parties we'll make sure we come along.
PS Phil called back, checked it out on web. Seems it is something about independence - what a kidder, yeah, like that's gonna happen any time soon!!
Tut - Figured it out Jaclyn and Amie were both born on the 4th of July as was Bruce Springsteen - Thanks for the fireworks from us - really appreciated that guys!
Great shots of the fireworks - some framable ones in there for sure. The slow shutter speed gave you some great 'trailing' ..... like them a lot.
ReplyDeleteAmazing to see the kids so grown up!
In the Old Country we thirst for word from the New Country - nary a word! Are you unhappy that Thingywotnot and Whojamaflip went to Canada before gracing your shores? You are entirely welcome to them, no please, I insist.
ReplyDeleteThe days are long and hard without some news to fill the vacant and grim times. Nothing to think about when supping one's gruel, maybe tomorrow there is some black bread - just maybe.
I am ebaying things. Jaclyn was a bit upset that I put Molly online, but as her birthday was on the 4th and times being hard she understood that Molly would have to go. Times be hard - they be, aye.
To be a famed Knight in the New Country, how wonderful that must be. Sir Ron and His Lady lording it over the rabble and the common people that doth dwell within some parts of the New Country - one has heard of Detroit.
I pray thee my liege to condescend to send word, only a few so that we may rejoice - commandeth* thy Lady to execute said deed I pray thee ....
*Commandeth - yeah, like that is going to happen!!
Your Humble Grovelling Mere Nothing of A Servant bids Thee Bon Nuit!
